Immediately remove any leaking batteries from the batte-
ry compartment. Clean the contacts before you insert new
batteries.

The batteries may not be charged or reactivated with other
means and they may not be disassembled, thrown in a fi re,
submerged in a liquid or short-circuited.
Handling the device properly

Check the device for damages prior to each use. If the de-
vice or the adapters exhibit visible damages, the device
may not be used.

Never attempt to repair an electrical device yourself, rather
contact customer service centre or locate a qualifi ed work-
shop to guarantee your own safety.

Only use the device if the adapter has been correctly
mounted!

Only use the adapters from the manufacturer. Only use the
adapters with this device.
■
Do not allow the device to fall and do not subject it to strong
percussions.

Never submerge the device in water or other liquids.

Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean
the device. They could damage the surface. Clean the adap-
ters with warm water and, when needed, wipe the device off
with a clean damp cloth. Then dry it all off.

Keep the device and the accessories away from sources
of heat.
■
Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe
temperature fl uctuations, direct sunlight or moisture.
■
Store the device and accessories in a dry place out of the
reach of children and animals.
