■ To prevent accidents, keep the rotating adapter away from
your hair, textiles etc.
■ Make sure that the rotating adapter of the device only comes
in contact with the teeth. Do not touch it with your fi ngers!

■ Do not use the device if easily fl ammable gases are pre-
sent in the air.

Proper handling of batteries

■ Batteries may be life threatening if swallowed. Therefore
keep the batteries and device out of the reach of children
and animals. If a battery has been swallowed, you must
seek immediate medical attention.
■ Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts
in the battery compartment and on the batteries are clean
and, if necessary, clean them.
■ Only use the battery type specifi ed in the technical data
(see section "Technical data").
■ When replacing the batteries, make sure that the polarity
(+/–) is correct.
■ Remove the batteries from the battery compartment if they
are empty or if you are not using the device for an exten-
ded period. This way, you can avoid damages attributed to
leaking.
■ If the batteries have leaked, avoid contact of the skin, eyes
and mucous membranes with the battery acid. In the event
of contact with the battery acid, rinse the affected areas
instantly with plenty of clean water and immediately consult
a physician.
