1. Introduction

handset is for use together with the TF04 Set, refer also to the manual of the
set. The manual of the set is the master manual and it contains the safety
instructions and information relating to the location, installation,
connection and use of the handset.
Always observe all the safety instructions. If you have any questions or are
unsure about using the equipment, ask a specialist or obtain information on
line at www.indexa.de. Keep this manual in a safe place and pass it on to
third parties if necessary.
2. Proper use
The additional handset TF04M consists of a handset TF04M with a charger
TF04L and mains adapter. The additional handset is suitable for use with
the door intercom TF04 Set. It must be registered to the base TF04B.
The door intercom TF04 Set can be expanded with up to three further
handsets TF04M. Internal communication between handsets is possible.
The system uses DECT/GAP standard. Compatibility with components from

The handset, charger and mains adapter must be kept dry. The charger is
powered through the 7.5 V DC mains adapter which is connected to
230 VAC, 50 Hz. The handset is powered by two Ni-MH rechargeable
batteries which are automatically recharged when the handset is placed in
the charger.
Any other use or modification of the equipment is not authorised and
presents significant risks of accident. No liability will be accepted for

operation.
This equipment is not suitable for use by persons (including children) with
limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities or with lacking experience or
