SAfeTy inSTRuCTiOnS

This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with redu-
ced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities or lack of expe-
rience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards in-
volved.
Cleaning and user maintenan-
ce shall not be made by chil-
dren unless they are older than
8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its
cord out of reach of children
aged less than 8 years.
This appliance is not a toy.
Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
Accessible surfaces may beco-
me very hot when the applian-
ce is in operation.
Do not use the appliance in
conjunction with a program-
mer, timer or other device au-
tomatically connected to it.
Do not use the appliance if it

has fallen on the floor, if there
are visible signs of damage or
if it has a leak.
If the supply cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the ma-
nufacturer or its service agent
or similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
The bread can ignite, so the
bread toaster should not be
used in the proximity of or un-
der combustible material, such
as curtains.
Do not modify or repair the
appliance in any way. If you de-
tect any anomalies in the cord
or any other part of the applian-
ce, do not use it and take it to
an authorised service centre.
The appliance must be connected to a power
socket with a suitable ground connection.
This appliance is exclusively for household use
and not for industrial use. It is dangerous to
use it for any purpose other than the one in-
dicated.
Do not use any parts or accessories not su-
pplied or recommended by SOLAC.
Before plugging the appliance into the mains,
check that the indicated voltage is the same as
in your home.
Always unplug the appliance after use and be-
fore assembling or removing parts, and perfor-
ming any maintenance or cleaning operations.
Also unplug it in the case of a power cut. The
appliance must be switched off before plugging
or unplugging it into the mains
Never pull the cord or use it to hang up the
appliance. Always unplug the appliance by pu-
lling the connection pin, and not the cord.
Make sure the cord does not come into contact
with sharp edges or hot surfaces. Do not leave
the cord hanging over the edge of a table or
