1. Introduction
Congratulations and many thanks for the purchase of the 8-Port Gigabit Ether-
net Network Switch. All devices that we commercialise comply with the safety
regulations valid at the time of purchase and, in general, are safe provided
they are used for the intended use. Observe the following instructions to avoid
possible risks, damages or malfunctions.
These Operating and Safety Instructions are included with the 8-Port Giga-
bit Ethernet Network Switch. They contain important information on product
handling. To facilitate the reading of the Operating and Safety Instructions,
hereafter we refer to the 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Switch as „network
switch". Please read the instruction manual carefully, in particular the safety
instructions, before using the network switch. Failure to follow these operating
instructions can result in serious injury or damage to the network switch. Keep
the instruction manual in case you need to use it in the future. If you give
the network switch to another person, make sure it is accompanied by this
instruction manual.
