7. Description of the Network Switch
Front Panel
Power LED
This LED is lit when the network switch is powered.
LED Control Lights (Ports, see 8. LED Indicators)
Each 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 has 2 dedicated lights on the front of the network switch.
The LED indicators allow you to monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot any network switch,
connection or connected device issue. One green LED per port is used as a Link/Act LED.
The green LED lights up permanently if a correct mains connection is available or flashes
in case of data transmission. The lower LED for each port lights up when connected to
1000Mbit. The LED is off in case of 10/100 MBit.
