To move from one mode to the other, press the « ON» button once to turn on the unit. While
looking through the eyepiece, press the « M » MODE button and quickly release. When
switching on the rangefinder, it is in the last measuring mode used.
 Ranging mode and Scan mode
This ranging mode allows you to obtain a direct measurement by shortly pressing the « ON»
button. To scan, make a long press on the « ON» button.
 Flagpole lock mode with vibration signal
In this mode, a vibration confirms the acquisition of the distance to the flag.
This mode allows easy acquisition of the distance to the flag without mistakenly measuring
the distance to other background targets (such as trees).
Press the « ON» button to turn on the rangefinder. Then aim the target marker at a target
(e.g. a flag) whose distance you want to know. Then make a long press on the Power button
and gently move the laser beam to the desired flag or object until a rectangle surrounds the
flag indicator.
ADVICE: While pressing the « ON» button, you can move the target marker slowly from one
object to another and thus force the laser beam to touch several objects to verify that only
the distance to the desired objects is displayed.
