Conditions of use:
If possible, the weighing should be done undressed. Please keep the weighing conditions
constant, i.e. at the same time each day. By nature, the body weight is subject to fluctuations
(for example loss of water after taking an exercise or after a sauna visit, after a meal, etc.). To
be able to compare readings it is important to do the weigh-in under the same conditions.
Note:
1. Place the scale on a flat and firm surface (tiles, hardwood flooring etc.). A weigh-in on a
carpet will give an erroneous result.
2. Always stay in the centre of the scale to prevent the scale from tipping to the side.
3. Please take care that no heavy objects falls on the scale. The glass surface is breakable.
4. Attention - Slip hazard! Do not stand on the scale with wet feet and ensure that the
weighing platform is dry.
Preparation:
Open the battery cover at the bottom side of the scale and remove the battery safety strip.
Please ensure a correct polarity of the batteries (+/–).
There is a switch at the bottom side of the scale for country specific settings with the option
to switch from kg = kilogram to st:lb = stone:pounds or to lb = pound.
Weighing function:
1. Switch on the scale by using the tap-on function. For this, tap with your foot quickly on
the centre of the scale. The display reads "----" and a few seconds later "0.0 kg". The scale
is now ready to use.
2. Step on the centre of the scale. Remain stationary on the weighing platform and relax.
After a few seconds, your weight will be displayed.
3. After weighing, step off the scale. The scale will switch off automatically after a few
seconds.
Error messages:
