Connecting

A Turn the computer off.
Do not connect the Magnetic
Stripe Card Reader in
sleep (
Windows Vista
standby (
hibernation mode.
B Connect the Magnetic Stripe
Card Reader to the connector
of the computer with
Panasonic logo facing

upwards.

C Tighten screws (A) until the waterproof sheet goes out of sight.
When using the computer in unstable

places such as a car, or when using the
computer with the Magnetic Stripe Card
Reader attached continuously, attach the
rubber caps to prevent the screws from
loosening.
Tuck the rubber caps in until there is no
gap between the screw base and rubber.
Disconnecting

A Turn the computer off.
Do not disconnect the Magnetic Stripe
Card Reader in sleep (
standby (
mode.
B Remove the rubber caps.
C Loosen screws (A).
D Pull the Magnetic Stripe Card Reader
out straight.
