This Instruction Manual refers to the Smart line. The Smart was designed and produced for use at home.
It is a household appliance that, according to its definition and assembly characteristics, is placed in the category of kitchen sinks outfitted with
modern technology.
All the products in the Smart series are tried and tested for functionality and safety in accordance with existing EU Laws and Directives.
The EU Directives applicable to the Smart products are:
- 73/23/EEC, modified by 2006/95/EC Low Voltage (LVD)
- 89/336/EEC, modified by 2004/108/EC Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
As well as technical laws: CEI EN 60335-1, CEI EN 61770, CEI EN 60529
As much as possible, the abovementioned Laws concern the normal risks presented by machines to which people are exposed at home. However, in
general, they do not take into consideration:
- The use of the machine by people (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, prohibit
them from using the device safely without supervision or instruction.
- Children playing with the device.
The manufacturing company holds the proprietary rights to the technical documentation attached to the product and furthermore prohibits its repro-
duction or translation, whether partial or in its entirety, without prior written authorization.
