Multi-point locks electrically couplable or with monitoring contacts
2.3.2 SECURY 1975 (electrically couplable on both sides)
Basic functions
The multi-point lock is equipped with an automatic lock (panic function C,
see general instructions M -00090-00-0).
WARNING
2.3.2.1 Open-circuit principle (fail-secure)
Without operating voltage, the outside and inside lever handles are
decoupled (open-circuit principle).
With operating voltage, outside and inside lever handles can be coupled via
an additional control signal (e.g. via a switch).
Alternatively, it is always possible to couple the outside and inside lever
handles temporarily through the built-in locking cylinder by turning and
holding the key. As soon as the key is released, the outside and inside lever
handles are decoupled again.
The following lock functions are available as potential-free contacts:
Latchbolt (locked or not locked)
Position of the cylinder cam / key (actuated)
Outside lever handle (actuated or not actuated)
Inside lever handle (actuated or not actuated)
2.3.2.2 Closed-circuit principle (fail-safe)
Without operating voltage, the outside and inside lever handles are
coupled (closed-circuit principle).
With operating voltage, outside and inside lever handles are decoupled and
can be coupled via an additional control signal (e.g. via a switch).

sides) has no panic function and must therefore not
be used in doors for rescue routes.
