Initial operation and operation
Prior to the initial operation make sure
that the voltage specifications on the
nameplate of the machine correspond
to the voltage of your power source.
Tinning the soldering tip (fig. I)
–
Tip the soldering tip briefly into the soldering paste
and then tin it by placing it against the end of the
solder wire.
Soldering (fig. II)
–
Clean area to be soldered.
–
Place the hot soldering tip onto the workpiece to
be soldered.
–
After the workpiece has reached the required
soldering temperature, place the end of the
soldering wire onto the end of the soldering tip to
melt the solder onto the workpiece and complete
the soldering process.
Cleaning the soldering tip
–
Clean the hot soldering tip with a moist sponge
and tin it.
Placing the soldering bit in the holder (fig. III)
–
Place the hot soldering bit into the supplied holder
(only for 100 W and 200 W soldering bits).
Never place the soldering bit or the holder on a
flammable surface!
Terminating work
–
Disconnect the power plug from the socket and
allow the soldering bit to cool down (do not cool
down with water).
Changing soldering tip
Before changing the soldering tip, ensu-
re that the soldering bit has fully cooled
down!

Damage that has occurred will be corrected either by
replacement or by repair. Damage caused by improp-
er handling is excluded from the guarantee.
Claims can be recognized only if the machine is pre-
sented in a not-disassembled manner to a WÜRTH
branch office, your WÜRTH field service employee or
a customer service office for power tools authorized
by WÜRTH.
