12. The stainless steel plate becomes hot. Please do not touch it in order
to avoid being burned. Grip the appliance only by the handles. Use
heat resistant ovengloves, if needed.
13. Please do not pull on the cable in order to move the appliance, but
lift the plate and then set it down on the desired spot.
14. Remove the mains plug every time after use, and also:
– in the event of malfunctions whilst in operation,
– every time that it is being cleaned
Please do not pull on the connecting lead but on the plug itself.
15. Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the device in a
way that no one can fall over the cord.
16. Never immerse the appliance, the cable or the plug in water or other
liquids. Please do not clean it in the dishwasher.
17. Check the cable regularly for damage. void the cable becoming
squashed or bent, becoming chafed on sharp edges or coming into
contact with warm surfaces. If the cable is or becomes damaged, it
must be replaced in each case by an expert.
18. Please do not ever use the appliance if you discover instances of
damage or if it has dropped.
19. Never attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. In the event
of malfunctions have it repaired only by qualified experts.
20. Please do not use any accessories or replacement parts that are not
recommended by the manufacturer in order to avoid causing
damage to the appliance or injuries.
Before the first use
· Please carefully read through the operating instructions and safety
advice first.
· Remove all packaging materials.
· Clean the surface of the warming tray with a damp cloth and then dry
it off thoroughly.
Use
· Check that the mains voltage and the type of current comply with the
information on the appliance.
· Place the warming tray on a plane and stable surface.
· First insert the mains cable into the warming tray and then insert the
plug into a suitable socket.
· Switch on the appliance, the red control lamp lights up.
· The maximum temperature is reached after approx. 12 minutes. The
red control lamp goes off and the green control lamp lights up.
· Please remove the plug from the socket first and then remove the cable
from the appliance.
· The warming tray is now ready for use. Place the appliance on the
desired spot and place your food, in the cookware or oven dishes, on
the warming tray directly from the stove or the oven.
· The stored heat lasts for approx. 1 hour.
· If used for more than 1 hour please keep the warming tray connected
to the socket and switched on. Thanks to the integrated thermostat the
temperature is kept.
