c) Spitze durch Überhub völlig entleeren:
Pipettierknopf bis zum zweiten An-
schlag drücken.
d) Pipettenspitze dabei an der Gefäß-
wand abstreifen.
e) Pipettenspitze von der Gefäßwand
zurücknehmen und Pipettierknopf
zurückgleiten lassen.
5. Spitze abwerfen
Pipettenschaft über einen geeigneten Ent-
sorgungsbehälter halten und die Spitzenab-
wurftaste bis zum Anschlag niederdrücken.
Wichtig!
Gerät mit gefüllter Spitze nicht hinlegen, da
sonst Medium in das Gerät fließen und dieses
kontaminieren kann!
5. Volumen kontrollieren
Wir empfehlen, je nach Einsatz, alle 3-12 Monate
eine Prüfung des Gerätes. Der Zyklus kann aber
den individuellen Anforderungen angepasst
werden.
Die gravimetrische Volumenprüfung der Pipette
erfolgt durch nachfolgende Schritte und entspricht
der DIN EN ISO 8655, Teil 6.
1. Nennvolumen einstellen
Maximales angegebenes Gerätevolumen ein-
stellen (Vorgehensweise siehe Seite 7).
2. Pipette konditionieren
Pipette vor der Prüfung konditionieren, indem
mit einer Pipettenspitze fünfmal die Prüfflüssig-
keit (H
O dest.) aufgenommen und abgegeben

wird.
3. Prüfung durchführen
Hinweis:
Nach DIN EN ISO 8655-2 wird ein Spitzenwech-
sel nach jeder Einzelmessung empfohlen. Von
dieser Regel kann gemäß der DAkkS-Richtlinie
DKD-R8-1 abgewichen werden.

tip against the wall of the con-
tainer.
e) Remove the pipette tip from the
container wall and let the pipetting
button slide back.
5. Ejecting the tip
Hold the pipette shaft over a suitable
disposal container and press the tip
ejection key to the stop.
Important!
Don't lay the instrument horizontal when the
tip is filled. Liquid may enter and contaminate
the instrument.
5. Checking the Volume
Depending on use, we recommend inspection of
the instrument every 3 to 12 months. The cycle
can, however, be adjusted to individual require-
ments.
The gravimetric testing of the pipette volume is
performed according to the following steps and is
in accordance with DIN EN ISO 8655, Part 6.
1. Set nominal volume
Set volume to the maximum volume indicated
on the instrument (see page 7 for procedure).
2. Condition the pipette
Condition the pipette before testing by using a
pipette tip to aspirate and discharge the test liq-
uid (distilled H
O) five times. After this, discard

the pipette tip.
3. Carry out the test
Note:
According to DIN EN ISO 8655-2, it is re-
commended to replace the tip after each
measurement. This rule may be waived in ac-
cordance with the DAkkS guideline DKD-R8-1.
