Therefore the wall suspension by means of wall brackets proves as convenient by
which it is possible to set up the loudspeakers in a way that they aim signifi cantly
beside the hearing position or even towards the ceiling of the hearing room. Good
results are often also reached then if the effect speakers are mounted on the side
walls in the height of the seats, about 1.5-1.8m above the bottom, so that the sitting
listener will not be irradiated directly.
Hereby still an enhancement is possible by additionally aligning the loudspeakers
slopingly or even - as directly as the global joint allows - towards the ceiling.
Own experiments are very important to determine the best acoustic result in
any individual room.
The background signals in the digital surround (AC-3, MPEG-II, dts) mode, however,
should be radiated directly. A positioning comparable with that of the main speakers
but behind the hearing position is to be recommended.
With multifunction decoders which can process both surround formats, analog
and digital, the optimum alignment of the effect speakers must be looked at as a
compromise and be found out by attempts too.
Connecting the ELEGANCE SHELF A-1 as a Rear (Rear/Effect) Speaker
Connect the speaker outputs of your multichannel amplifi er labeled Surround or Rear
Speaker with the two Shelf A-1 mounted behind in the room with correct polarity.
Tighten the screw terminals well because otherwise they can cause side noise.

Placing the Loud Speaker ELEGANCE CENTER A-1
The middle or also called center speaker should be located in the middle between
the both front speakers. As it is mainly responsible for reproducing dialogs and
for music representation of soloists, it should also be placed as close as possible to
the image source (TV set, screen).
A vertical alignment towards the hearing seat can be achieved by individually
attaching the enclosed 3 black self-adhesive rubber feet on the rounded lateral
surface.
For upright operation, please use the 4 smaller self-adhesive rubber feet and fi x
them on one of the front sides.
