5. Changing batteries:
You need four 1,5 Volt alkaline batteries of the size LR6 for this safe. Please use only high quality-products
that have sufficient power, last long enough and are safe of leakage. When the batteries are low, you
will see the message Lo-BAT appear on the display after pressing START. The factory recommends
Alkaline batteries for perfect function. Please return used batteries to official collecting points, thus
helping to protect the environment. To change the batteries, proceed as follows:
• Push the battery cover, located beside the keypad, to the right.
• Replace the batteries ⇒ take care of the correct polarity + / - .
• Close the battery cover by pushing it to the left.
6. Programming your emergency code:
This safe is equipped with an emergency code. If necessary, you can open the safe without user code.
Keep your code in a safe place but never inside your safe. To programme a new emergency code,
proceed as follows:
• Open the door according to item 2 of the instructions manual.
• Press the white MEMORY button on the inside of the door.
• Press START.
• Enter your new 6 digit emergency code n n n n n n.
• Your new emergency code is programmed.
7. Recommendation:
Your safe is equipped with a fastening hole. For safety reasons, we recommend that you secure the safe
in its place in such way that it can't be carried away in case of burglary. The best way to secure the safe
depends on the location, and it may be helpful to get advice from an expert.
