Synchronization

Test button: For testing, or multiple flashes can be used.

Sync socket: The standard 0.35 cm jack type socket on the rear panel of the unit may be used for direct
connection to a camera set to "x" synchronization. A "Radio remote control receiver" may also be
plugged into this socket.

Photocell: The unit has a built-in photocell, enabling the unit to be triggered by the flash from any
other flash unit, or a small camera mounted flashgun. The photocell is mounted behind the red
"Ready" indicator on the rear panel.

Fuse
The modeling and flash circuitry is protected by a single 7 amp fuse mounted on the rear panel. Never replace the
fuse with one of a different rating. Be sure to switch OFF the unit before changing the bulb or fuse.
Warning - high voltage
Do not touch the flashtube assembly for thirty minutes after disconnecting from the supply.
