10. Vérifier l'étanchéité du point d'installati-
on. Le cadran et les indications relatives
à la conformité/métrologie doivent être
visibles et lisibles à tout moment.

· Dans le but de garantir un montage opti-
mal, nous recommandons l'utilisation d'un
support pour compteur d'eau.
· Couple de serrage recommandé pour les
raccords: de min. 20Nm à max. 30Nm.

General notes
· Water meters are precision instruments.
Protect against shock and vibration. Storage
under cool, dry and frost free conditions.
· The sealing surfaces are equipped with
thread protection caps, and thus protected
from damage.
· Check and ensure before beginning the
installation:
– That the sealing faces are flat and free
from damage such as notches, grooves, etc..
– That all indications on the dial are
readable.
– The meter fits in type, size, temperature
and pressurerating to the installation and
metering point.
· With polluted or loaded water we recom-
mend that filters or strainers in the inlet must
be installed upstream of the meter.
· The meter should always be installed at the
lowest possible point of the piping as well
as frost protected, to prevent the accumulati-
on of air and damages.

del flujo y en la posición correcta. Preste
atención a que las juntas no se muevan, se

8. Atornille y apriete las tuercas de racor.

10. Compruebe la estanqueidad del punto
de montaje. La esfera y las placas de
conformidad/medidas deben estar bien
legibles en todo momento.
Indicaciones adicionales para el montaje
de contadores de plástico
· Para garantizar un montaje sin tensión,
recomendamos usar un soporte de montaje
de contadores de agua (WZAG).
· Par de apriete recomendado en los atornill-
amientos de conexión: mín. 20Nm hasta
máx. 30Nm.
· The watermeter must be installed into the
pipeline free of any of mechanical forces or
tensions.
· Watermeters must be operating completely
filled with water - for wet dial meters this
includes also the counter!
· The meter must be protected with appropri-
ate measures against pressure shocks in the
pipeline.
· When there is danger of frost, empty
completely and shut off the installation
(including the meter), if necessary, dismount
the meter.
· The meter must always be easily accessible
and legible, including all indications on the
dial.
· We recommend that the installation points
on the pipeline should be secured with a
seal against unauthorized dismounting. The
seal should not be removable or loosened
without visible damage.
· The installation has to be done by qualified
professional personnel. We would refer to
the applicable rules of the
DIN ISO 4064:2014, Part 5.
Installation
1. Read these instructions carefully right up to
the end!
2. Close valves upstream and downstream of
the meter.
3. Release pressure at the installation point.
4. Dismount existing meters or meter blanks.
5. Use only new and flawless sealing material.
6. Check the seal face for damage.
7. Install the new meter according to the cor-
rect flowdirection and installation position.
Ensure that the sealing joints do not fall
out, or are being damaged.
8. Screw the connection nuts and tighten
them.
9. Open vales carefully and avoid pressure
shocks, purge adequately.
10. Check installation for leakage. The dial
and the indications regarding the con-
formity /metrology must be visible and
readable at any time.
Additional instructions for installation of
plastic meter
· In order to guarantee a stress-free installati-
on, we recommend the use of a water meter
installation bracket (WZAG).
· Recommended tightening torque for the
connectors: min. 20Nm up to max. 30Nm.

Indicaciones generales
· Los contadores de agua son aparatos de
precisión. Protéjalos de golpes y vibra-
ciones. Almacenamiento en condiciones
frescas, secas y protegido contra heladas.
· Las superficies de sellado cuentan con ta-
pas protectoras de rosca para su protección.
· Antes de comenzar el montaje, controle que:
– las superficies de sellado estén planas y
libres de daños como muescas, arrugas o
similares.
– Todos los datos de la esfera sean
legibles.
– El contador esté adaptado al punto de
montaje en su forma de construcción, su
tamaño, su rango de temperaturas y su
nivel de presión.
· Si el agua tiene mucha carga, recomenda-
mos instalar filtros en la tubería delante del
contador.
· Monte el contador en el punto más bajo
posible de la instalación así como en un
lugar protegido de las heladas para evitar
acumulaciones de aire y daños.
· Los contadores de agua deben montarse
libres de tensiones mecánicas.
· Los contadores de agua deben estar
completamente llenos de agua durante la
operación – en los contadores de esfera
húmeda, ¡también la relojería!
· El contador debe estar protegido de los
golpes de presión en la tubería por medi-
das adecuadas.
· En caso de riesgo de heladas, cierre la in-
stalación y vacíela por completo (¡incluyen-
do el contador!), si es necesario desmonte
el contador.
· El contador debe estar bien accesible y
legible en todo momento, incl. todos los
datos de la esfera.
· Recomendamos asegurar los puntos de co-
nexión en el tubo con un seguro de usuario
para evitar el desmontaje no autorizado. El
seguro no se debe poder retirar o soltar sin
un daño visible.
· El montaje solo debe ser realizado por
personal técnico cualificado. Hacemos refe-
rencia a las reglas aplicables de la norma
DIN ISO 4064: 2014, parte 5.
Montaje
1. iLea con atención las instrucciones de
montaje hasta el final!
2. Cierre los dispositivos de cierre delante y
detrás del contador.
3. Despresurice el punto de montaje.
4. Desmonte los contadores o piezas de
ajuste que haya.
5. Utilice solo material sellante nuevo y en
buen estado.
