Wheel chair mounting
Make sure that all parts are complete before you
start setting up your walking frame step by step:
- Remove the entire packaging material.
- Unfold the running gear as described and shown
in the category „unfolding of the wheel chair".
- Mount the foot rests as described and shown in the
category „foot rests".
Unfolding of the wheel chair
To unfold the wheel chair push the seat tubes down
to the rest. This is easier done if you tilt the wheel
chair a little bit to take weight off of the drive wheel.
Folding of the wheel chair
First of all make sure to remove any pillows and
to fold up the footrests. To fold the chair, grab
underneath the cover and pull it up. To fold the
wheel chair as much as possible simply take off the
footrests. To do so, push the unlocking lever and
turn the footrests away to the sides. Afterwards pull
the footrest out of the crossbar of the wheel chair.
The rods of the drive wheel
The drive wheels of the lightweight wheel chair RE-
HASHOP „Bison 2 Blue" series are equipped with
a rod and are therefore removable without the help
of any tools. To take off the wheels simply push the
adjusting knob – which is placed on the outside of
the drive wheel axis – and pull out the wheel at the
same time. Mounting is the opposite, you only need
to pay attention that the locking of the rods snaps in.
Make sure that the adjusting knob goes back into its
original position and also check after mounting that
the drive wheels are in a firm position.
Handbrake
The wheel chair is equipped with two handbrakes.
The brakes affect the drive wheels directly. To lock,
simply push the lever all the way forward to the
block. To unlock the handbrake, pull the lever all the
way up to the back.
