beam angle with respect to the horizon. If the angle
of the laser projection exceeds the set angle, the laser
will switch off automatically and the user receives
haptic and visual feedback.
Set the appropriate mode according to the local
terrain. Set a mode above zero degrees for increasing
terrain levels (figure 8.1), set the zero (0) mode for flat
terrain (figure 8.2) or set a mode below zero degrees
for decreasing terrain levels (figure 8.3).
The 'OFF' mode deactivates the Horizon
System and allows the user to project the laser beam
in any direction.

Battery charger
Use the included battery charger to recharge the
batteries.
1. Plug one end of the power cable or car charger
adapter to the charger's power input. Plug the other
end of the cord into a wall outlet or the cigarette
lighter socket in your vehicle. All yellow status
indicators (Z in figure 6.1) blink once as the charger
runs a quick self-test.
2. Insert the batteries in the charger slots and make
sure the positive battery pole corresponds with the
(+) symbol on the charger (figure 6.1). Make sure
that solid contact is made between battery poles
and metal contact points. Once inserted, the yellow
status indicators (Z in figure 6.1) start blinking.
