Running time:

Switch-on unit using the ON/OFF-key. The unit will carry out a self-test. After approx.
2 sec the unit is in the measuring mode. In the display appears the highest mesaured
value in °C.
Switch-off the unit via the ON/OFF-key, or if the HOLD-key is not actuated within 10
minutes, the unit switches off automatically.
HOLD mode: Press the HOLD-key to reach the standstill mode. The icon "HLd"
appears in the display. When the standstill mode is activated, the
thermometer remains with the current value on the display and stops
all subsequent measurements. The display changes always from
„HLD" to the held value.
By pressing the „HOLD" key anew, (in the display appears briefly
„Con"), the measurements will be continued.
Maintenance:
Replacement of battery:
If in the display appears „Lo", it is necessary to change the battery. In order to
change the batteries, open the cover of the battery compartment. Remove the old
batteries and place the new ones as follows:
Then refit the cover.
