If the appliance does fall into the water unplug it from the (wall)
socket immediately.
Caution: Never stick your hand into the water. Take the
appliance to have it checked before trying to use it again.
Never operate the appliance if you have wet hands and be
careful to avoid splashes of water dripping onto it.
Never use spray cans in the direct vicinity of the appliance.
The air inlet grille becomes hot when the appliance is used.
Make sure that he electric lead cannot come into contact with it.
If you dry your hair with curlers in, make sure that the hairpins
or clips do not stick out any further than 10 mm in order to
avoid any of them touching parts of the hairdryer.
The air inlet and outlet grille must be kept free of obstruction at
all times. If the air supply is obstructed during use the thermal
safety mechanism will switch the appliance off automatically.
The hairdryer will automatically restart after being left for a few
minutes to cool down.
Always remove the plug from the electric socket after use and
before cleaning the hairdryer.
When you are using the hairdryer it can become very hot and
cause burns if you fail to take proper care.
To avoid burns or injury always hold the hairdryer by its handle.
If the grille of your hairdryer becomes blocked you can clean
it with a vacuum cleaner or a brush. If you fail to carry out
cleaning in this way the hairdryer will automatically switch off
as a result of overheating.
Keep your hair away from the air inlet grille.
Carry out regular checks for damage to the hairdryer's electric
lead.
Do not attempt to repair the hairdryer yourself. If the repairs
are carried out incorrectly you could place yourself or others in
danger of serious injury such as electrocution.
