IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1. Please read the following information and keep it for future
reference.
2. Connect the appliance only to an AC power supply with the
voltage indicated on the rating plate.
3. This device must not be used by children. The device and its
connection cable must be kept away from children.
4. An electrical device is not a children's toy. Children do not
recognize the dangers that can arise when handling electrical
devices. Therefore, use and store the device out of the reach of
children.
5. Disconnect the appliance from the wall socket after use and
prior to cleaning. Never leave the appliance unattended when it
is connected to the wall socket.
6. Do not operate this appliance with an external timer or remote
control system.
7. The handle must never be immersed into the liquid.
8. Do not clean the appliance in the dishwasher.
9. Switch on the appliance only after putting it into a jug with flat
bottom.
10. When placing the attachments take care that the attachment
is fixed firmly. For re-adjusting please follow the instructions
on page 40. No responsability for collateral damages due to
unproperly fixed attachments.
11. Whenever the knife is bent or damaged, we recommend to
replace it immediately in order to avoid collateral damages of
saucepans and recipients.
12. The appliance is fitted with safety press-switch, which prevents
the unit being unintentionally switched on, and also switches it
off as soon as the press-switch is released.
13. Do not apply too much pressure when chopping hard foodstuff,
just hold the blender on the foodstuff and move it slightly up
and down.
