› For your safety
The instructions include safety guidelines
and other information important for the
proper functioning of the appliance. Please
read the instructions carefully and keep
them in a safe place. If the appliance
changes hands, be sure to give the
instructions to the new owner. It is in your
own interest to follow all safety guidelines.
› Safety instructions
To avoid extremely dangerous electric
shocks and / or fire, please note the
following.
- Never immerse the charger, appliance or
the mains adapter in water or any other
liquid.
- Unplug from mains after use or for
cleaning.
- When unplugging the mains adapter, pull
it out by the housing, not by the cable.
When plugging in or unplugging the
appliance, never touch it with wet hands.
- The installation of a residual-current-
operated protective device with a rated
trip current of no more than 30mA offers
additional protection against electric
shock. Please make sure that this work is
only carried out by a qualified electrician.
- Only connect the mains adapter to a
socket that can be easily reached.
- Do not cover the mains adapter, since this
will cause it to heat up excessively.
- Check the charger, mains adapter and
grooming set regularly for any mechanical
defects.
Only have repairs carried out by a specialist
dealer or by our service centre.
