Electrical Connection
Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to
use is the same as that of the appliance. You will find the
information about this on the type plate.
Using the Appliance
1. Place the large container into the housing. Note the
recess on the container.
2. If required, insert the small container. Again, note the
recesses.
NOTE:
The small container can be used, for example, for
desserts, side dishes or sauces. It may be removed
prior to the heating-up procedure, depending on your
preference.
3. Put the food into the containers.
4. Use the lid and close the small container.
5. Put the lid on and close the latches.
WARNING:
• Always pull out the plug from the mains socket before cleaning
and wait until the appliance has cooled down.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water! It could result in an elec-
tric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents

6. Open the cap of the connector socket on the right side
of the appliance.
7. Plug the power cord into the socket on the appliance.
8. Open the steam valve by pressing it down firmly in the
middle. The edge of the steam valve must face up. This
allows the steam to escape during operation.
9. Only connect the appliance to a properly installed safety
socket. The control lamp on the front of the appliance
lights up.
NOTE:
• Do not operate the appliance for more than
4 hours.
• The time for heating up depends on various fac-
tors, such as the ambient temperature, the temper-
ature of the food, etc. At an ambient temperature of
approx. 25 °C, 30 to 60 minutes may be sufficient.
When the food is refrigerated, the heat-up time
is extended accordingly. Check that the food has
reached the desired temperature from time to time.
10. When the food reaches the temperature you desire,
disconnect the power plug from the outlet.
