Before switching it on, always check the lamp for damage. Do not use the lamp if
any signs of damage are evident.
•
Do not disassemble the lamp. Have any repairs performed by a specialist workshop
or by our Customer Service.
•
Do not place the lamp on or close to hot surfaces (such as cooker hot plates). Parts
of the lamp may melt.
•
Protect the lamp against high humidity, dust and direct sunlight.
•
Do not cover the lamp.
•
Always place the lamp on a flat solid surface. Otherwise it may tip over.
•
Do not expose the lamp to extremes of temperature, abrupt changes of tempera-
ture, direct sunshine or high humidity.
•
Do not drop the lamp or subject it to heavy impacts.
•
Make sure that the lamp is not dropped into water and does not become wet.
All faults caused by improper treatment, damage or attempted repairs by third parties
are excluded from the warranty. This also applies to normal wear and tear of the
components.

Batteries
1.
Remove the battery compartment cover.
2.
Insert the batteries. When doing so, check the polarity (+/-).
3.
Replace the battery compartment cover.
You can also fit rechargeable batteries of the same size and voltage. You cannot
recharge batteries whilst they are in the lamp.
