Clean and lubricate the blades
To ensure many years of efficient and trouble-free operation, blade cleaning should be performed if
sap and debris have built-up, or if you live in an area where the soil is sandy. Cleaning unusually heavy
deposits may require removal of the blades. For easier operation and longer blade life, lubricate the
hedge trimmer blade before and after each use. Stop the product. Lay the battery grass shear on a flat
surface. Apply lightweight product oil along the edge of the top blade. If you will be using the battery
grass shear for an extended period, it is advisable to stop work intermittently in order to re-oil the blade.
NOTE: Do not oil while the battery grass shear is running.
