The cleaning agent tank consists of 2 parts.
1. Connector with nozzle. Attach the connector to the quick fastener
(4).
2. Tank. It is attached to the connector after filling and locked by turn-
ing slightly clockwise.
NOTE:
The high-pressure effect cannot be achieved by using the cleaning
agent tank.

Connection Requirements

Electrical connection
Before connecting the plug to the socket, check whether the mains
voltage is correct. The details of the device can be found on the
information plate. Further performance data for the device can also
be found there.
Always connect the device to a tested socket.
Extension cables
Always use extension cables with a high mechanical strength,
which are suitable for outdoor use.
The wire cross section should be at least 3 x 1.5 mm².
Caution! Puddles are formed. Keep the plug and socket dry.
Raise the plug and socket. We recommend at least 60 mm above
the ground.
Water connection
The high-pressure cleaner is not suitable for the connection to a
drinking water pipe.
It is not suitable for connecting to hot water. The supplied water may
be a maximum of 50 °C.
The high-pressure cleaner does not have a self-priming pump.
Select a water supply with clean water and a pressure of 0.01 MPa
to 0.4 MPa (4 Bar).
If you use a drinking water network, use a backflow preventer
according to standard EN 12729 Type BA.
Connect the backflow preventer to the water supply and not to the
device.
Use a fibre-reinforced water hose. This is not supplied.
The hose should be of the following size:
Length: min 7.5 m
Diameter: min ½ inch or 13 mm
Attach the water hose to the device coupling. Connect the other
side to the water supply.
The connection figures can be taken from the technical data of this
manual.

Application Notes

Water
Contamination may damage the pump. If necessary, clean the
water with a filter.
If the high-pressure cleaner is operated without water, the pump
may be damaged. Before use, ensure that the water supply is
reliable.

Cleaning method
If you use a cleaning agent, refer to the manufacturer's specifications.
1. Spray the cleaning agent sparingly on the surface.
2. Let it take effect without allowing the agent to dry.
3. Rinse off the loose dirt with the high-pressure jet.
4. Start with a broad jet.
5. If possible, do not spray vertically. This increases the risk of dam-
age.
6. The dirt is best rinsed off at an angle of 45°.
CAUTION: If Cleaning Vehicles
Tyres and tyre valves may be damaged and may be punctured by the
high-pressure jet.
The first sign of this is discolouration of the tyre. Only use the flat jet.
When cleaning, hold it at a minimum of 50 cm from the vehicle.
Mixing ratio of water to cleaning agent
Read the instructions on the cleaning agent.
Measure out cleaning agent for 10 litres water and add this to the
cleaning agent tank.
Fill the rest with water.
Protection against damage
Do not underestimate the jet effect of the high-pressure cleaner.
If you want to work on sensitive surfaces, rather use the flat jet (see
spray jet adjusting in the section "Operation").
In the case of paint or insulated walls, start at a distance of 2 meters.
Work slowly depending on the extent of the dirt.
Prevent damage by checking your work at frequent intervals.
Motor protection
The motor is protected by overload protection. This protection is tem-
perature-dependent and sits in the motor. If the motor switches off
suddenly, do the following:
1. Switch off the main switch.
2. Disconnect the mains plug.
3. Wait half an hour and then restart operation.
If the motor does not switch back on, contact your dealer.

Operation

Connection
1. Position the device vertically.
2. Using a hose, connect the water connection (11) to the water sup-
ply.
3. Open the water supply and look for any leaks.
4. Lock the spray gun.
5. Connect the mains plug.
6. Switch on the main switch.
Working with the spray gun
Switch on:
Release the lock and pull on the lever of the gun. Cau-
tion - kickback!
Switch off:
Release the lever. Lock the spray gun during breaks.
Adjusting the spray jet
Turn the nozzle to vary the jet from point (A) to flat jet (B).
