DR230 Dark-activated Timer Relay
The DR230 dark-activated relay is a standard re-
lay with adjustable switch-off delay. The relay is
used in bathrooms in which there is a noticea-
ble and unpleasant draft or the noise of the fan
is a disturbance. The ventilator is only switched
on for the pre-set period once the lights are
switched off. If the lights are switched on for
less than 1 minute, the relay is not activated.
Operation: output M is prepared by switch input
Tm 230V with a delay of 1 minute. Output M
only becomes active when input Tm is voltage-
free (lights off). This means that the fan only
works in delay mode. If Tm is activated during
the time-lag, the fan switches off.
VZ120 Timer/Delay Relay
The VZ120 switches on electrical consumers
(e.g. ventilators) for a pre-set period (3 - 20
minutes). The time-lag can also be triggered by
a button. Operation: output M is directly swit-
ched on by switch input Tm 230V. Once input
Tm is voltage-free, the output switches off at
the end of the pre-set switch-off delay. If the
relay is switched on again during the time-lag
period, the switch-off delay begins again from
the start.
VZ230 Timer/Delay Relay
The switch-on delay can be adjusted from 3s
- 2.5 mins. Cannot be controlled by button. It
is triggered by the room lighting, for example.
Operation: output M is switched on by the 230V
switch input with a delay of 3s - 2.5 minutes.
Once the switch input is voltage-free, the
output switches off at the end of the pre-set
switch-off delay of 3-20 minutes.
IVR230 Interval Relay/Timer
The interval relay is a switch-off delay relay
with interval control. The relays are used
for forced ventilation. This prevents damage
from moisture and the build-up of unpleasant
odours. The 12 hour interval period means
that it does not have to run at night (hotel
operation) and rooms are ventilated twice a
day when they are not being used. With the
continuously adjustable interval or switch-off
delay, the required ventilation period can be
set in situ. The narrow design means that it
can replace any standard delay relay.
Operation: when the supply voltage is con-
nected, interval operation begins. The elec-
trical consumer switches on automatically
after the pre-set interval cycle and switches
off again after the pre-set switch-off delay.
230V at the Tm input interrupts the interval
cycle and switches the electrical consumer
on directly. Once the Tm input then becomes
voltage-free, the M output remains active for
the period of the pre-set switch-off delay. At
the end of the switch-off delay, the interval
cycle begins again.
Interval: 1-12 hour switch-off delay
Warranty
One year from delivery date against defects
in manufacturing. Any modifications or altera-
tions to the product relieve the manufacturer
of all responsibility.
Maintenance
In normal conditions the controllers are main-
tenance-free. If soiled clean with dry or dam-
pish cloth. In case of heavy pollution clean
with a non-aggressive product. In these cir-
cumstances the controller should be discon-
nected from the mains.
