MODELS: 18EF022, 23EF022, 26EF022, 28EF022 & 33EF022
PROBLEM
1. No power, logs do not glow.
2. Logs glow, but no flame effect.
3. Down lights (28EF022 & 33EF022
only) do not light up.
4. Heater does not blow warm air.
5. Heater doesn't work, but Power
and Heater settings are "ON" and
thermostat is set (see solution 4a.)
6. Flame effect works but heater
function does not and the emberbed
flashes when the heater button is
pressed.
TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
1a. Check that unit is plugged into a standard 120V outlet.
1b. Press power button several times, make sure power is set at "ON" position.
2a. Press flame button several times.
3a. Try to turn on/off downlight switch several times to make sure downlight is
at "ON" position.
4a. Adjust the temperature settings to ensure that the thermostat is set higher
than the current room temperature.
5a.Turn the POWER to "OFF" and unplug the unit from the wall outlet for 5
minutes. After 5 minutes plug the unit back into wall outlet, and operate
as normal.
6a. Heater function is locked. Press and hold the POWER button to unlock the
heater function.
