Disconnect the red charging clamp from the positive battery terminal (+ symbol).
Put the battery charger back in a dry place.
Close the battery cells with the relative plugs (if present).

STARTUP OPERATION

ATTENTION: Before proceeding further, read the vehicle manufacturer's warnings.
Be sure to protect the power supply line with fuses or circuit breakers with a value corresponding to the one
indicated on the plate with the symbol (
To facilitate starting, pre-run a 10- 15 minute quick charge in the BOOST position.
To avoid overheating the battery charger, perform the starting operation in strict compliance with the work/
pause cycles indicated on the device (example: START 3s ON 120s OFF - 5 CYCLES). Do not insist any longer if the
vehicle's engine does not start: this could seriously damage the battery or even the car's electrical equipment. If
commissioning does not occur, wait a few minutes and repeat the quick charge operation.
BATTERY CHARGER CONNECTION FOR STARTING
With the power supply cable disconnected from the mains socket, position the derailleur at 12V or 24V or
connect the cable with a red charging clamp to the corresponding terminal on the battery charger, depending on
the nominal electrical voltage of the battery in the medium to be started.
Check that the battery has been properly connected to the corresponding terminals (+ and -) and is in good
condition (not sulphated and not damaged). Do not start vehicles with batteries disconnected from the
corresponding terminals under any circumstances; the presence of the battery is essential for the elimination of
possible overvoltages.
START
With the battery charger in the OFF position, insert the power cord into the mains socket.
Set the switch to ON.
Turn the switch/switch to the START position and start by turning the vehicle key.
END OF BOOT
Disconnect the power supply to the battery charger by turning the switch or switch OFF and remove the power
cable from the mains socket.
Disconnect the black charging clamp from the negative battery terminal (- symbol) and the red from the positive
battery terminal (+ symbol).
BATTERY CHARGER PROTECTIONS
The battery charger protects itself in case of:
Overload (excessive power supply to the battery).
Short circuit (load clamps connected to each other).
Reverse polarity of battery terminals.
In the case of devices with fuses, the use of identical spare parts with the same rated current value is mandatory for
replacement.
