Operation
The Automatic change over device switches automatically
between the three AC sources.
The input is taken from output of Generator, Shore Power and
Inverter. In case of failure of generator the shore power will take-
over. If shore power and generator fail, inverter will take over.
The Vetus IVPS has a built-in micro controller to control the
relays and indicators. The micro controller is used to choose
the best source of power based on two choices: the prior-
ity of the power source, and the voltage of the power source.
For example, if the shore power and generator are both avail-
able, the generator power will have priority. But if the voltage of
the generator power is too low or too high, then the priority of
the generator is not considered, and the shore power is used.
The acceptable voltage of the shore power and generator is
230 V AC –20% and +10%. This means the voltage must be
between 184 V and 253 V.

: IVPS
: Automatic switching system between generator or shore power or Inverter
: 4.5 kVA maximum
: 230V AC
: -20% and +10% (higher than 184 V, lower than 253 V
: 50Hz
: Switching delay to generator mode is adjustable between 1-30 Sec
: 290 x 180 x 95 mm
: 2.4 kg
In case the output is switched to shore power or inverter and the
generator is switched-on (manual) a delay can be a set to give
the generator time to start-up. Generator time delay is adjustable
from 1 to 30 seconds.
