Disconnect the mains power adapter from the mains power socket resp.
the car adapter from the cigarette lighter before you start cleaning.

Ensure that moisture cannot permeate into the appliance during cleaning.

Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage
the upper surfaces.

Clean the housing of the appliance only with a lightly moistened cloth and
a mild detergent.
Do NOT dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2002/96/EC (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your com-
munity waste facility. Pay heed to the currently applicable regulations. In case of
doubt, consult your local disposal facility.

Before disposing of the appliance it is essential to fi rst remove the battery.
Used batteries/cells may not be disposed of in household waste. Every consumer
is statutorily obliged to dispose of batteries or cells at a collecting point in his
town/district or at a retail company. This obligation is intended to ensure that bat-
teries/cells are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Only dispose
of batteries when they are fully discharged.
