Only use the supplied battery charger. Make sure that the power source matches with the
specifications indicated on the nameplate of the unit.This tool is designed to be used with the
power voltage of 230V, however, power source with the voltage of 220V or 240V can also be used.
The Lithium-ion battery can protect itself against deep discharging through the "Electronic Cell
Protection". When the battery runs down, the tool will be switched off automatically by this
integrated protective function. The inserted blade assembly will also stop rotating.
WARNING: Never attempt to press the ON/OFF switch again once the tool has been automaticall
switched off, otherwise the battery could be damaged.
The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure a full capacity of the battery
completely charge the battery with the charger before your initial use of the tool.
The new battery cannot reach its full capacity until it has experienced
approximately 5 charging/discharging cycles.
If the tool does not work after pressing the ON/OFF switch, it indicates that the
battery has not been charged sufficiently.
Plug the adaptor (6) into a proper power outlet and insert the plug (7) of the charger into the
corresponding charging inlet of the tool. Then the indicator light (9) will be illuminated. During
the charging process, the indicator light will be red. Once the battery is fully charged, it will turn
green.
Disconnect the battery charger from the power supply if it is not to be used for an extended period
of time.
