1. INTENDED USE

The Alecto ACW-45 is a mechanical bathroom scale, suitable for
weighing the weight of a person in a private household situation.
The ACW-45 is NOT suitable for hospital use or for industrial or com-
mercial purposes.

2. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read the user manual carefully and completely, and make sure
you understand all the instructions. It is also advised to keep this
booklet as a reference.
• If you resale the scale, then ensure the booklet is with the device.
• The scale is not a toy. Please ensure that it is always kept away
from children.
• It is advised to supervise the use of this scale together with per-
sons with reduced physical or mental capabilities.
• Never immerse the scale in water.
• This scale is only for domestic use.
Make sure the scale is placed horizontally on a firm, stable and

level surface.
Never place the scale on a flame or a hot surface .

Ensure the floor under and around the scale is dry so as to avoid

slipping.
• This scale does not contain any spare parts. Do not open the sca-
le. Service repairs should only be performed by qualified technical
personnel. Improper repairs could lead to a dangerous situation
for the user.
• The ACW-45 can only weigh up to 136Kg and NOT more.
