Install the installation hoses between the

stop valve and the control box as well as
between the control box and the faucet.
Take the markings IN and OUT on the
control box into account
Connect the sensor cable of the faucet to

the sensor cable of the control box
Insert 4 AA batteries in the control box
•
Preparing the water faucet for
operation
Remove the aerator first, prior to reopening
•
the main stop valve carefully, so that it cannot
be damaged by possible contaminations.
Open the faucet, so that the water can flow
•
away immediately.
Now reopen the stop valves for hot and
•
cold water SLOWLY. Dirt can be released
and consequently damage your faucet if
you open the stop valves too quickly.
After a while you can close the faucet
•
again and reinstall the aerator.
Caution: do not use a pipe wrench for this.
•
It must only be tightened in by hand.
Carefully check the connections for water-
•
tightness, after taking the water faucet into
operation.
Leaks as a result of a defective installation
•
may lead to significant damage to buildings
and/ or household goods.
Disposal
Your faucet has been supplied in a solid
packaging to protect it against damage
during transport. Please dispose of it in an
environmentally-friendly way. Do not throw
the product into the normal domestic waste
at the end of its useful life, but enquire about
the possibilities of environmentally-friendly
disposal at your local authority.

Instructions for maintenance and
care
Sanitary faucets need special care. Therefore,
please observe the following information:
•
The surfaces of faucets are sensitive to lime-
dissolving, acidic and abrasive cleaning
materials.
Clean your faucet regularly, only with clear
•
water and a soft cloth or chamois.
•
We recommend regular cleaning of the
aerator. You can unscrew the aerator of
the Sozu model by hand, please use the
provided tool for the Kiyo model.
One extra water-saving aerator is delivered
•
in the packaging
•
The Sozu model is equipped with a water
- saving mechanism. To open the faucet
completely for a maximum amount of
water, you must push it beyond the stop.
Warranty
The warranty period for Zeromix faucets and
stop valves is 5 years, subject to submission
of this warranty document plus the proof
of purchase. In all other circumstances, the
relevant legal terms will apply.
For each individual case, it will be decided
whether equivalent spare parts will be
supplied as a replacement or whether the
complete water faucet will be replaced by
an equivalent faucet. No installation work or
payments exceeding the replacement service
will be accepted.
The warranty will be granted generally
for impeccable materials composition and
processing, professional assembly, water-
tightness and the functioning of the faucet
corresponding to its purpose.
The 5 year warranty does not
apply to the following:
Corrosion in the pipes and cartridges

(particularly as result of lime scale)
•
Cartridges (2 year warranty)
