Congratulations on your new,
lead-free Zeromix faucet
General
You have decided on a healthy, excellent
quality water faucet. This purchase enables
you to take your responsibility concerning the
environment and your surroundings and will at
the same time offer you a better quality of life.
An original faucet can easily be recognized
by its dark DNA ring. This is important,
because only Zeromix can guarantee that no
lead has been used in the production of the
brass and that the water pipes are not only
lead-free, but also 100 % free of nickel. By
purchasing this faucet and the accompanying
stop valve, you are protecting your children's
health (including damages to the development
stage) as well as your own.
Safety information
Caution against water damage: shut off
•
the water mains at the main valve, prior to
installation.
Test whether the available stop valves
•
are operating correctly. We recommend
replacing the stop valves in case of any
problems.
We recommend incorporating a filter into
•
the installation, or using stop valves with
filters at least. This to prevent penetration of
particles from outside the faucet that could
damage the cartridge or the aerator. This
is the only way to retain your entitlement to
the warranty provided by us. Ideally, you
will use our lead-free Zeromix stop valves.
Please, store your proof of purchase and
•
these mounting instructions in a safe place,
because they are also your warranty
documents.
Installation of stop valves
•
Caution: local regulations may apply,
whereby stop valves may only be installed
by authorized craftsmen.
•
Please use suitable sealing material to seal
the connections.
Please use a suitable open-end spanner or
•
chrome pliers for the installation, in order
to be able to tighten a connection in such a
way that its water-tightness is guaranteed.
Installation of sink and
washstand faucets
The tap opening concerned must have a
•
diameter between 34 mm and 37 mm. You
will find flexible tubes in your installation
set, which you will first have to attach in
the faucet, after which you must push them
through the opening in the sink.
•
Position the water faucet.
•
Place the locking ring and tighten it
firmly with the aid of a pipe wrench or a
spanner.
Connect the connection tubes to both the
•
stop valves.
Always observe the coloured labelling
•
for HOT (red) and COLD (blue) on the
connections.
Installation of washbasin faucet
sensor
The tap opening concerned must have a
•
diameter between 22mm and 35mm.
Position the water faucet
•
If there is sufficient space, place the small
•
and large plastic rings over the faucet's
screw thread. If there is insufficient space
for the large ring, you should only mount
the small ring.
Make sure the sensor's cable cannot be
•
pinched off
Fasten the faucet with the fastening nut,
•
firmly tighten the nut using a suitable pipe
wrench or spanner
Mount the control box with the screws and
•
plugs supplied, close to the fountain. Take
