Only the supplied seals or seals recommended by Diehl Metering may
be fitted (seals must not project into the pipeline).
ƒ
Site-provided gaskets must be suitable for the purpose and comply
with the local guidelines and directives. No liability is accepted for
consequential damage resulting from the use of third-party gaskets
such as corrosion to gasket surfaces and threads.
ƒ
Simultaneously manually screw home the meter fittings on both sides
and then tighten in opposing directions by a quarter turn using a suit-
able tool (minimum torque 30 Nm, maximum torque 50 Nm). Do not
use any adhesive or jointing compound with the coupling.
ƒ
Depending on the version, the meter is suitable for water tempera-
tures from 0.1 °C to 90 °C.
ƒ
Slowly fill the pipeline with water on completion of the installation.
ƒ
The meter must always be filled full with water.
ƒ
The meter must be protected against pressure shocks in the pipeline.
ƒ
The meter may only be installed in frost-free areas.
ƒ
The use of PTFE tape with threaded couplings is possible.
