This product is a hot stapling repair system for car bumpers.

1. Safety recommendations:

1.1. Only use this product for the repair of bumpers and for no other application.
1.2. Make sure all health and safety procedures are in place before starting a job with this product. Do not use
this product in the proximity of inflammable substances.
1.3. Wear gloves and eye protection glasses, especially when cutting the legs of the staples using cutting pliers.
1.4. Do not use with wet hands or wet gloves.
1.5. When the staples are heated, their temperature can raise up to 200°C. Do not touch them without proper
protection on the hands (risk of severe burns).
1.6. Do not leave the product unattended, or in this case unplug it from the mains supply.
1.7. Before placing the product back in its plastic box, make sure the staple holder has totally cooled.

2. Instructions of use :

2.1. Plug the product into standard 230V electrical supply.
2.2. Turn the ON/OFF to the ON position.
2.3. Set the temperature control knob to the appropriate position depending on the job to perform :
Low (L) for thin plastics.
Medium (M) for thicker plastics (thickness 5mm).
High (H) for even thicker and harder plastics.
2.4. Make sure the staple holder switch is not activated.
2.5. Choose the staple adapted to the job and insert it in the staple holder.
2.6. Prepare the plastic to be repaired by butting together.
2.7. Press the staple holder switch for minimum 10 seconds until the staple gets hot.
2.8. Slowly insert the hot staple into the plastic to be repaired.
2.9. Once the staple is well inserted into the plastic, turn it slightly in order to obtain optimum holding of the
plastic.
2.10. Release the switch on the staple holder and maintain the staple in position until it cools down in the
plastic.
2.11. Slowly withdraw the staple, leaving the head of the staple inside the plastic.
2.12. Using cutting pliers, cut the legs of the staples coming off the plastic.
2.13. If part of the legs still comes off the plastic, use a grinder or sander to obtain a smooth surface.
2.14. If a larger area should be repaired, repeat the above operations placing a staple every 1 to 3 cm.
