Inserting the bowl in the device
1. Place the device on a solid, stable, and heat resistant base where an easily accessible
socket is nearby.
2. Insert the bowl so that the recess on the edge of the bowl points to the back. This is
a vent that should point as far away from you as possible.

ATTENTION!
■
Never leave the device unattended when operating in order to prevent damage to
property, the device itself and injury to persons, e.g. caused by fi re.
■
Risk of injury! Hot air is released. Be careful when opening the lid. Keep your head
and hands out of the danger zone when you open the lid.
■
Attention! Hot surfaces! During operation, the device becomes very hot. Be
absolutely sure that you do not come into contact with the heated parts during and
after using the device. Only touch the lid handle and the temperature control knob
when the device is in operation or directly after deactivating it. Use suitable kitchen
gloves to handle the device.

Attention! Hot accessories! The accessories are very hot when they come out of
the device! After removing food, place the accessories on a heat-resistant base only
to prevent damage to property and injury.
■
Do not overfi ll the device! If you would like to deep fry, fi ll oil in the bowl at least up to
the MIN mark, but never fi ll it past the MAX mark (2 litres).
■
Do not overfi ll the frying basket. Do not fi ll the frying basket more than ¾ full with food.
It should be possible to properly mix the food.
■
Do not insert foods packed in clingfi lm or plastic bags in the device.
Operation
1. Put the desired accessories and food in the device (see sections "Using the frying
basket", "Using the steamer insert").
2. Connect the device to a properly installed socket with protective earth contacts. The
socket must also be easily accessible after the device has been connected. The
mains voltage must correspond to the technical data of the device. The device will
automatically switch to standby mode.
3. Close the lid.
4. Set the desired temperature via the temperature control knob (80 - 240 °C) (see
sections "Tips for preparing food" and "Usage types").
5. The device will immediately start cooking. The control light will light up.
6. Once the cooking time has expired, set the temperature control knob to Aus (off). The
control light will go out.
7. Open the lid and take the prepared food out of the device. We recommend using
potholders or kitchen gloves or the removal handle as the bowl, the accessories and
the food are very hot.
8. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket and allow the unit to cool off.
