AXIOM QUICK-START SPEAKER SETUP
INSTALLATION RAPIDE DES ENCEINTES AXIOM
Placement
This is by far the most important step before you even begin the installation.
Mount the VP150 On-Wall center channel speaker above or below your TV
screen, properly centered and no farther than 2 feet away. The center speaker
anchors movie dialog and vocals at the TV screen, so keep it reasonably
close to the screen. Avoid corner locations if possible. Please make sure
the speaker wire has a clear path from your stereo or A/V receiver to the
placement of your speaker.
The Axiom On-Wall Speakers are designed to be installed on a common stud
wall, preferably fastened directly to a stud. If this is not possible the use of a
suitable wall anchor (not included) will be required.
The Speakers
Turn the speakers around and look at the back panel. You'll see the Axiom
Power Bracket which you will use to connect the speaker cables from your
receiver or amplifier.
The Axiom Power Bracket provides easy wall mounting and electrical
connections in one innovative design. Simply connect your speaker wires
to the bracket, mount the bracket to the wall, and hang your speaker. The
negative is on the left side of the bracket and the positive is on the right. Refer
to the illustrations on page 3 for further details.
Positionnement
Ceci est de loin l'étape la plus importante avant même le début de
l'installation. Bien centrée et à moins de 60 cm de distance de ce dernier,
positionnez l'enceinte centrale sur surface murale VP150 au-dessus ou
au-dessous de votre téléviseur, L'enceinte centrale ancre le dialogue et
les voix au téléviseur, il faut donc la placer près de l'écran. Si possible,
évitez l'installation dans les coins. Veuillez vous assurer qu'il n'y ait pas
d'obstacle qui obstrue le passage des fils de l'enceinte jusqu' à votre
récepteur stéréophonique ou Audio/Vidéo. Les enceintes sur surface
murale Axiom sont conçues pour être installées sur un mur à colombage
standard, préférablement fixées directement à un colombage. Si ce n'est
pas possible, il faudra utiliser des fixations (non comprises) appropriées
à votre type de surface murale.
Les enceintes
Examinez le panneau arrière des enceintes. Vous y trouverez un support
mural « Axiom Power Bracket » auxquelles vous devrez connecter les câbles
de haut-parleur provenant de votre récepteur ou amplificateur.
Le support mural d'un concept innovateur "Axiom Power Bracket" est
une façon facile d'installer et de brancher votre enceinte. Raccordez-y
simplement vos fils d'enceinte, installez-la au mur et accrochez-y votre
enceinte. La borne négative est située du côté gauche du support et la
positive du côté droit. Pour des indications supplémentaires référez-vous
aux illustrations en page 3.
WARNING: Do not loosen bolts on power tabs. Doing
so will cause the speaker to lose electrical connection
and render the speaker inoperable.
ATTENTION: Ne pas desserrer les boulons sur les onglets de
puissance. Cela pourrait causer à l'orateur de perdre la connexion
électrique et de rendre le haut-parleur inopérable.
