IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire,
electric hazard and injury to persons, including the following.
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock, do not place this unit in water or other liquid See instructions for
cleaning.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Do not use appliance unattended.
6. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow cooling before cleaning the appliance.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been
damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair
or adjustment.
8. To reduce the risk of injury, use accessory attachments only if recommended by the appliance
manufacturer.
9. Do not use outdoors or while standing in a damp area.
10. Do not let cord hand over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric stove, or in a heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving any cup containing hot liquids from this appliance.
13. Do not use appliance except as intended.
14. The piercing pin is very sharp, use with extreme caution.
15. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
16. Children shall not play with the appliance.
17. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
18. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
19. The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer‐switch or by means of a separate
system with remote control.
20. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the
manufacturer or its service agent.
21. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
OPERATION PROCEDURES
1.
Measuring water
The amount of water required depends on the number of eggs and the degree of hardness/softness
desired. The measuring cup marked 3 scales: Soft, Medium and Hard‐boiled. Each scale has the number of
eggs marked on it. Fill the measuring beaker with water up to the appropriate mark. Make sure that the
egg boiler is placed in horizontal position. Unwind the cable from the base. Pour measured amount of
water into the boiling plate.

Preparing to boil eggs
Using the pin located on the egg tray to prick a small aperture into the blunt end of the egg. The piercing
pin is very sharp, use with extreme caution. This prevents the eggshells bursting during boiling. Put eggs
into tray and put the boiling plate. Close the lid.
3.
Boiling eggs
Put the plug into socket. The machine is now in operation. When all water has evaporated the built‐in
thermostat switches off the boiler and the buzzer sounds. The eggs are now cooked. Pull out the plug from
socket. Remove the lid carefully, as it is very hot. Immediately take out the egg tray and cool down the
eggs.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Always unplug the appliance and allow cooling before cleaning. The egg tray and the cover can be washed
normally. However, the cooking plate which is fixed to the bottom of the appliance can only be cleaned with a
