Master / Slave function 8
Der Bewegungsschalter kann als MASTER oder als SLAVE

to the SLAVE position. In addition, connect the terminals
P 5 of the motion sensors with each other. Up to 10
SLAVE motion sensor can be connected to one MASTER.

The maximum cable length between MASTER and SLA-
VE should be, if possible, not exceed 20 m. The maxi-
mum cable length between the first MASTER and the

last SLAVE device must not exceed 100 m. From about
20 m cable length, there may be interferences in ac-
cordance the ambient and installation conditions. We
recommend then to usen an RC component. Up to 10

SLAVE units can be connected in parallel on the MASTER.
Please note the part „Technical features". The motion
sensor with MASTER function controls the values twi-
light threshold (brightness) and duty cycle (shut-down

time delay).
Slave function

For the motion detector that shall act as the SLAVE, set
the adjustment screw 8 to the SLAVE position. SLAVE
devices only detect movement and send this informa-
tion to the MASTER device further. All relevant settings
are set in the MASTER device. Loads must be connected
to the MASTER device.

Switch-off warning
Press button 1x. A brief tone sounds.
Deactivate switch-off warning:
Press button again 1x. Two brief tones sound.
When the switch-off warning is activated, a short acou-
stic signal is emitted immediately before the consumers
are switched off with different numbers of tones:
Function test
Set the adjustment screw 9 to „shortest duty cycle"
and twilight threshold 8 to „day operation".
Pass through the detection range transversally 2 .
The connected load, e.g. lamp should switch on.
After expiration of the set duty cycle, the lamp should
switch off again.
After a successful function test, set the desired parame-
ters (twilight threshold 8 , duty cycle 9 ) for constant
operation.
Manual ON (button activation)
For this, connect one or more buttons to the normally
open contact on the T 5 terminal of the motion sensor.
Press the button (normally open contact) and switch
the motion sensor ON (regardless of the set twilight
threshold). The motion detector switches off again in
accordance with the set duty cycle.
