USE
Please Note!
■ Before using for the first time,
switch on the hotplates (without
cookware) for approx. 5 minutes
at the highest heat setting. Ensure
good ventilation! Production resi-
dues are burnt off and smoke may
be produced.
■ Check the device and the connection
for damage each time before putting it
into operation. Use the device only if it is
undamaged and in working order.
■ Only connect the device to a plug socket
that is properly installed and match-
es the technical data of the device.
The plug socket must also be readily
accessible after connection so that the
connection to the mains can quickly be
isolated.
■ Make sure that the connection is not
squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges
and does not come into contact with
hot surfaces (including those of the
device!).
■ Ensure there is sufficient clear space on
all sides. Do not place the device below
kitchen wall units or similar cupboards.
The rising steam could cause damage to
them!
1. Set up the device on the kitchen work-
top or another flat, solid and heat-resist-
ant surface.
2. Fully unwind the connecting cable and
plug the mains plug into a plug socket.
3. To switch on one of the hotplates, turn
the corresponding control knob to the
desired heating level.
4. To switch off, turn the control knob to
the OFF position.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■ Do not use any caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents or abrasive sponges to
clean the device. These could damage
the surface.
1. Make sure that the device has been
disconnected from the mains power and
has cooled down!
2. Clean the device with a damp cloth or a
sponge and a little household cleaner if
required. Then dry.

If necessary, use a care product for
cast iron hobs. Follow the manufac-
turer's instructions.
3. Store the device in a cool and dry place
which is out of the reach of children and
animals.
