INSTRUCTIONS

Playing with your Musical Take-Along Arch
1. To activate the musical (hippo) toy, squeeze the ON/
OFF button located on the tummy of the hippo.
2. You will hear a sound to confirm that the toy has been
turned on.
3. Now tap on the hippo to hear one of 3 short musical
tunes.
4. At the end of play we recommend that you turn the
hippo off by squeezing the ON/OFF button.
Changing the Batteries
1. Open the flap in the hippo's tummy and remove the
electronic sound unit from its pocket.
2. Using a cross-headed screwdriver, loosen the screw of
the battery compartment cover, lift the cover and
remove the old batteries.
3. Insert three new button-cell (1.5 v type LR44/AG13)

4. Return the cover and tighten the screw firmly.
Make sure the screw is tightly closed to avoid a
possible safety hazard.
5. Replace the sound unit into your hippo and close
the flap.
Cleaning and Storage

Use a damp cloth to wipe clean.
✿
Do not immerse in water.
✿
Remove the batteries for long-term storage.
And Don't Forget These Safety Rules
✿
Batteries should be replaced by adults only.
✿
Do not mix old and new batteries.
✿
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
✿
Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
✿
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
✿
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
✿
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
✿
Do not burn batteries. Dispose of batteries in a safe and appropriate manner.
✿
Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
✿
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
✿
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
