Protection against electric

by building the thermostat into
an enclosure.
Installation is to be performed
by a qualified electrician or
trained technical personnel
only.
Installations instructions must
be adhered to.
Means for disconnection must
be incorporated in the fixed
wiring in accordance with the
wiring rules.
This product is not a safety
device. A separate control
system is needed if continuous
energization of the load is
unsafe.
Never work on live equipment.
Once installed, the thermostat
and its wiring must be made
inaccessible from users.
Before beginning cleaning or
maintenance works, all live
parts shall be de-energized.
The product has limited (IP20)
ingress protection so
appropriate measures must be
taken to limit ingress of water
and dust.
Transport
, Storage and Disposal
• Storage temperature -40°C up to +30°C.
• Relative Humidity up to Max 50%.
• Disposal: Regulation and control devices should
be disposed of in compliance with the applicable
local and national codes. Metal parts and
packaging shall be reused or recycled in
accordance with applicable national and local
codes.

Instructions
Installation
• No user serviceable parts inside
• The thermostat must be fitted to an
appropriate, secure DIN rail. (EN 60715)
• Once installed, the thermostat must be made
inaccessible from users.
• The appliance is not to be installed in wet,
aggressive, corrosive environments or
temperatures below 13°C.
• Recommended cable size between 20AWG -
12AWG
• We recommend cable anchorage / retention to
prevent wires being dislodged from the
thermostat terminal connections
• Terminal screw torque 0.25Nm to 0.5Nm.
• For heating applications, the thermostat is
best situated near to top of the control cabinet.
• For cooling applications, the thermostat is best
situated near the bottom of the control cabinet.
• Do not cover thermostat.
• Do not use the thermostat to control loads
higher than its rated current.
• When fitting or removing, avoid the use of
excessive force to prevent damage to the
component.
• For products with a red dial, contacts will open
on temperature rise.
• For products with a blue dial, contacts will
close on temperature rise.
