Wird das Isolierungsstück im Innenbereich der Bürste blank und kommt es zum Kontakt mit dem Kommutator wird der Motor automatisch ausge- schaltet. Danach müssen die Bürsten gleichzeitig gegen Neue desselben Typs ausgetauscht werden. Achtung! Vor dem Austausch der Bürsten hat man sich zu vergewissern, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet und die Stromversorgungsleitung abgetrennt wurde.

When the insulation tip integrated inside the brush gets revealed and touches the commutator it will trip the engine automatically. When this happens, both brushes must be replaced with new brushes of the same type.
