Before using this appliance for the first time, please read these instructions
carefully and keep them in a safe place for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Do not wash the trash can lid directly with water as it is equipped with
an electronic system, only use a damp cloth.
2. The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended.
3. If the trash can is not used for a long time, we advise you to remove
the batteries from the lid to avoid damaging the components inside the
device.
4. Avoid direct contact of the device with sunlight.
5. Never interrupt the automatic opening and closing of the trash can with
your hand, you risk damaging the lid motor.
6. Keep children and non-responsible people out of reach of the trash can.
IMPORTANT: In the event of a malfunction (opening or closing of the
lid), you can reset the mechanism. To do this, turn off the trash can by
pressing the switch on the back of the trash can. Then press the "OPEN"
button then the "CLOSE" button ten times. Once the operation is complete,
turn the system back on by pressing the switch located on the back of the
cover. The system is then reset. If the lid still does not open automatically,
repeat this procedure. If it still does not work after a few tries, please
contact the after-sales service of the product distributor.
INSTRUCTIONS For USE
1. Open the hatch of the box located under the lid of your automatic
trash can and place 4 LR06 (not supplied) there, taking careto respect
bipolarities.
2. Turn on the lid with the switch located on the back of the trash can, the
red light comes on for 3 seconds, then it flashes every 3 seconds which
indicates the correct operation of the device.
Automatic operation: Place your hand or an object 10 cm above the
infrared cell, the cover opens automatically and closes in 3 seconds after
your hand is removed, if you do not remove it, the cover will remain open.
Manual operation: Press the "open" button on the lid. It will then open but
will only close if you press the "close" button. Once the lid is closed, it will
switch to automatic mode.
Indicators: Normal operation.
The indicator flashes red every 3 seconds: the lid has been opened by
hand.
The light is green: the lid opens.
The indicator light is red: the lid is closing.
The indicators: Anomaly
The light flashes green every 3 seconds: the lid has been opened by hand.
The lid is not closed correctly, simply press the "close" button to close it
correctly. The indicator flashes yellow every 3 seconds: the batteries in
the cover are exhausted.
Note: Batteries have an average life of 6 months. (for around twenty
openings and closings per day)
