Specified conditions of use
The Universal Cutting and Punching machine is designed for cutting and punching rails.
Operation
The equipment is ready for use and does not nearly require any maintenance.
Before the equipment is used screw it down firmly on a workbench.
Fasten the length fence with two screws.
The length fence is used to determine the appropriate length of the DIN-rails you want to cut.
Screw the lever in the provided hole of the eccentric.
To punch or to cut pull down the lever.
The transverse holes are preset by the center-distance.
Longitudinal holes are made by adjusting the tape measure to the mark „Stanzen" (punching).
To cut please read measure behind the bedstop.
To punch please read measure in front of the bedstop.
In case the shear plate jams because of soiling, it can be disassembled for cleaning.
For this, loosen the two screws on the base plate and take it off.
Pay attention to loosen the screws simultaneously as the base plate stands under spring pressure.
The dies for longitudinal and transverse holes, located in the base plate, can be exchanged by loosening the
screws.
The longitudinal and transverse punches can be exchanged by disassembling the three springs and the shear plate
and by loosening the screws.
Disassembly and reassembly must be done by qualified staff only.
Reassembly is made in reverse order.
All parts must be carefully cleaned and greased.
