- Page 3 INSTALLATION AND USER GUIDE BAYFORD™ FLUSH GUARD™ Complete 2-Piece Toilet TL-5800CFH-RWL STEP 1 REMOVING OLD TOILET Turn o the water supply. Flush the toilet to empty the tank. Remove any water left in the tank or bowl. Disconnect the supply line from the tank. Remove decorative caps. Unscrew nuts that attach the toilet to the floor. Remove toilet.
- Page 4 INSTALLATION AND USER GUIDE BAYFORD™ FLUSH GUARD™ Complete 2-Piece Toilet TL-5800CFH-RWL STEP 4 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE Install plastic cap washers (J), followed by metal washers (O) and nuts (P) onto the floor-bolts (M). Tighten the bolts alternately until toilet is firmly seated on the floor. (Figure 4) Install the plastic bolt caps (J). (Figure 5) CAUTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NUTS, SEVERE DAMAGE MAY OCCUR.
- Page 5 INSTALLATION AND USER GUIDE BAYFORD™ FLUSH GUARD™ Complete 2-Piece Toilet TL-5800CFH-RWL STEP 6 INSTALLING TANK LEVER Turn clockwise to remove plastic nut from the lever arm. Insert lever arm through the hole on the side of tank. Screw the plastic nut counter clockwise to tighten it. (Figure 7) Hook the chain onto the lever into the furthest hole from the lever.
- Page 6 INSTALLATION AND USER GUIDE BAYFORD™ FLUSH GUARD™ Complete 2-Piece Toilet TL-5800CFH-RWL STEP 8 CONNECTING WATER SUPPLY Connect water supply line (new or existing) between shuto valve and tank inlet water fitting. Tighten coupling nuts securely. NOTE: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Turn on supply valve and allow tank to fill until float rises to shuto position. Check for leakage at fittings, tighten or correct as needed.

Tirez la chasse pour vider le réservoir. Retirez l’eau qui reste dans le réservoir ou la cuvette. Débranchez la conduite d’alimentation en eau du réservoir. Retirez les capuchons décoratifs. Dévissez les écrous qui fixent la toilette au sol.
- Page 11 GUIDE D’INSTALLATION ET D’UTILISATION Toilette complète BAYFORD™ FLUSH GUARD™ en deux pièces TL-5800CFH-RWL ÉTAPE 4 PROCÉDURE D’INSTALLATION Installez les rondelles à capuchon en plastique (J), suivies des rondelles en métal (O) et des écrous (P) sur les boulons de fixation (M). Serrez les boulons l’un après l’autre jusqu’à ce que la toilette repose fermement sur le sol. (Figure 4) Installez les capuchons de boulons en plastique (J).

Insérez le bras du levier à travers le trou situé sur le côté du réservoir. Vissez l’écrou en plastique dans le sens antihoraire pour le serrer.

Serrez solidement les écrous d’accouplement. REMARQUE : ÉVITEZ DE TROP SERRER.
